Santa Croce

Day 19 

Today brought more housing conflict and I missed a little bit of art history. But I joined my class before they left for the field trip to Santa Croce. 

We learned that this is where Galileo, Michelangelo, and Machiavelli are buried. Since we were supposed to be taking notes, I missed getting good photos of their monuments. I'm kind of upset I couldn't really seize the chance to take pictures because admission was almost 6€ and it was free as part of class today...

Inside it's interesting to compare the technique of Giotto with the Gaddis and just generally admire the scenery. 

And then they kicked us out so they could close up.
